On Friday, the 4th, we took a trip to Ocean Park. It's a cross between Disneyland and SeaWorld.

We started on our way by taking the Star Ferry

and then the bus.

Ocean Park has got some great rides, like the Mine Train...

... we rode it many times!

We didn't try the Space Wheel, because it's just like the Enterprise back home at the PNE.

The Dragon coaster is pretty good if you ride at the back of the train. The ride is awful if you ride at the front.

The Raging River surprisingly seemed to be themed Canadian, guess they think we have wild rivers here...

They've got many places where you can see many different types of sea life up close

A lazy shark and fish

There were many birds including pelicans

And also some pretty colorful birds (a duck we believe)...

But the highlight seems to be the dolphin show

The dolphins were great to see

We even saw some panda bears

The park is so big that it has many gondolas and escalators to get you around...

Fittingly, the Ocean Park mascot is a sea lion...

After a full day, we left the park and headed home. To celebrate, we stopped off at a swanky restaurant

We had a great (expensive) dinner of steak and tuna before settling in back at the hotel.
